Faculty and administrative staff can now access real-time attendance data, making it easier to identify patterns, follow up with absent students, and improve overall classroom engagement.
Speaking on the rollout, the University’s Director of IT explained that the system is not just about monitoring attendance—it is also intended to foster accountability and encourage consistent participation among students. “Our goal is to create a seamless experience that saves time, reduces errors, and provides actionable insights for both students and faculty,” the director noted.
Students have welcomed the change, praising its convenience and ease of use. Many highlighted that the new system eliminates the need for manual registers and reduces delays at lecture entrances, giving them more time to focus on learning. With the introduction of this innovative check-in system, Miva University demonstrates its commitment to embracing technology that enhances the student experience, improves operational efficiency, and supports a modern, digitally-enabled learning environment.
