As the holy month of Ramadan unfolds, Miva Open University is inviting students to share their unique journeys of faith, focus, and academic dedication through the #RamadanAtMiva challenge. The initiative encourages students, fondly known as Miva Stars, to document and showcase how they balance worship, rest, work, and learning throughout this spiritually significant season.
Ramadan is a time marked by reflection, discipline, and renewed purpose. For many students, it also requires intentional planning to maintain productivity while observing fasting and increased devotional activities. Through this challenge, Miva seeks to highlight the resilience and structure that define its learning community, offering a glimpse into how students navigate lectures, assignments, personal development, and spiritual commitments within the same day.
Participants are encouraged to share a realistic “day in their life” during Ramadan. Whether it is a thoughtfully organised study routine after Suhoor, a quiet prayer moment between classes, a carefully arranged workspace for late-night revisions, or a balanced schedule that blends professional responsibilities with academic goals, every story reflects the strength and adaptability of the modern learner. The challenge aims not only to celebrate individual discipline but also to inspire fellow students who may be striving to maintain consistency during the season.
To participate, students are required to tag @mivauniversity on their social media posts and include the hashtag #RamadanAtMiva in their captions. Selected entries will receive special recognition, spotlighting students whose routines demonstrate creativity, balance, and intentional living.
Beyond recognition, the #RamadanAtMiva challenge represents something deeper: a celebration of community. It is an opportunity to honour the reflection, dedication, and perseverance that define the Miva experience, while reminding students that they are part of a supportive network committed to growth in every season.
